Our family went out to scout for a Christmas cedar tree on Sunday. Our family made its annual trip to Grand Island for the Stuhr Museum Christmas experience. This fabulous piece of furniture has been in my possession for a few years.It has been quietly sitting at the school waiting to be transformed. It did come with the treadle machine, but sadly the machine was beyond help. You can't truly tell from the picture, but the top was a bubbly, dirty and stinky mess. This evening while Brenna and mom were in town for Brenna's dance lessons and dad was picking up a load of panels, Quinn and I made this: And this: He then got into the spirit of things and decided to make our evening meal a grand affair.
